Very old Marc de Bourgogne. Eau-de-vie from Pinot Noir grapes. Origin 100% Burgundy. 8 years of aging in small Bourguignon oak barrels.
Edition 2nd Fill Peated Islay Bourbon Cask Finish.
Bottles numbered by hand. Red wax cap.
Tasting note
Nose peated in finesse with notes of coconut and clove, evolves on orange zest, custard and thyme. Rich mouth on a hint of ginger and nutmeg and a nice length of coffee, coconut as well as a hint of mango. Long finish on bacon with a slightly smoky creosote profile developing on notes of cinnamon, vanilla and four-spice.
